2013 International CES

Las Vegas, Nevada:

In 2013 it is all about the ‘phablet’ or phone/tablet for those outside the consumer electronic inner circle. Handset manufacturers are squaring off in Las Vegas to gain a foothold for what has grown to be the biggest consumer product trend within the last year. As the average screen size of smart phones is increasing, some vendors are introducing phones with a viewing space of over 6 inches and 1080p resolution. We will wait to see if clothing designers begin adjusting pants to fit the tablet size hand-held device.

Liberty Port’s consumer electronics division will visit CES to see what new products popular vendors such as HP, Dell, Adobe, and Transcend will be introducing to the global market place.

The International CES is produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the preeminent trade association promoting growth in the consumer technology industry. CEA represents more than 2,000 corporate members involved in the design, development, manufacturing, distribution and integration of consumer electronics products.

All profits from CES are reinvested into industry services, including technical training, education, promotional activities, engineering standards development, market research and legislative advocacy. Over the years CES has brought about some of the greatest technological advancements to the public sector from 3-Dimensional HDTVs to supersonic processors.

Our sales and marketing team will meet with potential vendors and talk with consumers on what products they would like to see being offered from the telecom operator and service provider industry.
