TechAdvantage 2016

TechAdvantage 2016

New Orleans, Louisiana:

TechAdvantage conference will be held this year at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center from February 15th – February 18th. Both state and federal initiatives to provide funding for new utilities and technology in America have influenced some rural communities to form a cooperative network in which all resources are shared equally and all work is done collaboratively by co-op members. One industry that has seen tremendous growth in this community backed national movement is within the telecommunications field.

Using both private and government funds, rural communities have been able to expand their communications abilities without relying on major service providers or Tier 1 wireless carriers. This initiative has allowed individuals in rural areas to experience the same broadband internet capabilities that were once reserved to users in metropolitan cities. As a result, co-operatives have promoted a higher quality of life for citizens living in their community while also helping increase employment based on the demand for work related to the co-operatives expanded role.

Liberty Port has always valued the role co-operatives play in the telecommunications industry within the United States. This network of Tier 3/Tier 4 carriers comprise a large majority of the clientele that we service within North America and we strive to give them the same dedication and customer services as our leading Tier 1 carriers throughout the world. At this year’s convention, we will be hosting a variety of tech workshops related to wireless technology and innovations within the field by our partner ZTE. We hope that you will join us for at least one of the four days of  transforming the world through engineering and information technology.
