Western Telecommunications Alliance

San Antonio, Texas:

Liberty Port will attend the 2013 Western Telecommunications Alliance to further understand the growing demand of rural carriers providing voice, video and data services to hard-to-serve communicates west of the Mississippi River.

Unlike traditional telecom operators, the WTA Member companies serve fewer than three thousand subscribers with less than five hundred subscribers per public exchange. Due to the evolving landscape of the telecom sector, rural carriers are constantly looking for cost effective solutions to provide their customers with superior service offered by Tier 1 Operators in metropolitan regions.

Liberty Port will use the three day conference to meet with potential customers and to further understand the growing demands of rural carriers.
