ACE 16 Conference

Chicago, Illinois:

Long before water reaches the end-user, it goes through an arduous journey from the moment it is discovered to the point where it is potable for human consumption. One of the leading nonprofit organizations studying to improve this process is the American Water Works Association or AWWA. Established in 1881, the American Water Works Association is dedicated to the process and policies behind managing and treating water, the world’s most important resource.

With improvements in technology, the methodology for treating and delivering water to consumers has now become almost completely automated. Now more than ever, engineers are looking for new types of technology to improve the quality control and security of the networks that control these industrial processes. Liberty Port has worked with a number of companies in the design and management of complex IT and telecommunications networks specifically designed for waste water treatment facilities.

Our team will visit the ACE Conference in Chicago Illinois from June 19, 2016 to June 22, 2016 to network with other industry professionals and learn what challenges still existing in securing communications networks related to vital fields such as water.
